How women manage Himalayan river sources

Rivers emerging from the Himalayan region support fresh water needs of over a billion people. But do you know how the source of these rivers are preserved, and of the special role women play in their management? This story shows you not just how the headwaters of Himalayan rivers support agriculture, but also of the broader role they play in the life of the people – especially the women.

Link
